Race for the Cure

As the granddaughter of a breast cancer survivor the color pink has always been a little bittersweet for me. While its a sign of hope, it also reminds me of what she went through, what my family went through, and all those who weren't so fortunate.

I will be participating in the Susan G. Komen "Race for the Cure" May 7th, 2011. In an effort to try to earn some donations for the cause I have set up a special section in my Etsy store just for this. I have a section called "SUSAN G. KOMEN" and all of the proceeds from those items will be donated in FULL to the cause. I will be adding stuff this week to it, and hopefully in the weeks to come.

Here is a preview of what there is:

Lazy Daisy Stripes
Pink Cupcake Paradise
Milkshake Half Apron
Set of two pink and brown argyle bows
Pink Tulip Hair Bow
Like I said I will be adding more, this is just a preview. I have approximately 40 items available right now.

I can not tell you how important this cause is to me, men and women should be educated about breast cancer, and we should all be fighting for a cure.
